Lenark is an award-winning vodka that is distilled and bottled in Poland. In addition to being distilled six times, every drop of Lenark is filtered through maple-fired charcoal, exclusively found in the sparsely inhabited Bieszczady Mountains. This unique filtration process lends a distinct profile with a soft vanilla nose and subtle sweetness. To ensure unbridled flavor characteristics, Lenark is distilled in small batches and is 100% natural.
A tasting review by Anthony Dias Blue, a James Beard Award-winner, captures Lenark's unique character and reads as follows: "Soft vanilla nose, smooth and lush with rich vanilla flavors, off-dry and balanced, long and just slightly sweet, stunning, made to drink on its own over ice."
The brand also won a silver medal at the 2020 Bartenders Spirits Awards in the USA.
Our journey is as unique as our vodka. Lenark’s story begins with a rebellious woman, who defied a communist regime and distilled an excellent vodka in her garage. Distilleries in communist Poland were government-controlled, which resulted in limited access to quality vodka, furthermore, it was rationed and traded as a commodity. What started as a small vodka production for family and friends soon gained popularity for its quality and characteristic.
Even today the small-batch production and the use of top-quality ingredients are what make our vodka truly exceptional. Lenark is a testament to the courage of a woman, who in testing times, distilled an exceptional vodka. To that, we say, Cheers!
